06/12/2017 Arduino / Workshop
Fulfilling its role as a space for sharing knowledge and discovering new experiences, Future Labs held 4 sessions of the Arduino workshop for 38 colaborators of Altice Labs. These 4 sessions, which occurred from October to November, were held due to the high number of participants and the strong practical component of this workshop.
The host of this workshop was José Miguel Santos from the Business Development direction. All the sessions consisted of a theoretical intervention on the theme, after which practical projects were then proposed for the participants to develop, using existing Arduino models from the Future Labs.
The list of proposed projects included: an ultrasonic controlled musical instrument, a RGB LED light and color controller, a servo motor position controller, a digital thermostat and an ultrasonic distance meter.
These sessions provided the participants with some basic knowledge about Arduino to encourage creativity, in order to create a local community of programmers and makers in playful and smart living projects.
